Dear colleagues,
In the second century of Röntgen's discovery of the X-ray, plain radiography is still the most common medical imaging method in veterinary medicine. At the same time, no medical science has seen such profound changes as radiology, as the term diagnostic imaging implies, and no medical science is as prepared as radiology to move forward in an era of changes. Each major technologic advance require the radiologist to further refine his or her understanding of both anatomic structure and disease and to learn or relearn the appropriate imaging principles involved. The IVRA meeting provides a forum for presenting the latest diagnostic and technical advances in our field from all parts of the world.
We would like to invite you to come to Bursa, Turkey (August 26-31) to join us for the IVRA-EVDI conference in 2012!
We invite submission of high-quality presentations on all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging. We are calling for abstracts of papers to be presented at the scientific and poster session. There will be a best resident presentation award (sponsored by ECVDI), a best presentation and best poster award (sponsored by the ECVDI and EAVDI) and the IVRA Rhodes Awards for Best Oral and Poster Presentations. Abstracts can now be submitted online through the website.
Please follow the abstract submission guidelines as outlined on the website and corresponding links. Deadline for abstract submission is April 30th, 2012.
We hope that this IVRA meeting will inspire as many veterinary radiologists and researchers as possible to come to Bursa, exchange opinions on academic issues and meet face to face with their fellow radiologists from all over the world. The conference will bring together leading researchers, specialists, residents and practitioners in the domain of interest from around the world.
As usual, there will also be an industrial exhibition during the scientific meeting. You can use this opportunity to make contact with vendors and check out instruments or new devices.
